Job Summary The specialist will use skills and various medical imaging techniques to produce visual representations of specific areas in the human body that are related to diagnosis. Must be able to use medical imaging technologies, such as X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, and MRIs, and successfully execute and interpret the medical images to aid the diagnostic and treatment process. To work with other physicians to help diagnose and treat the injuries of the patients. Job Responsibilities

  1. Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care.
  2. Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders.
  3. Administering trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images.
  4. Performing minimally invasive surgical techniques with image guidance.
  5. Evaluating patients’ medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
  6. Suggesting alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.
  7. Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses.
  8. Communicating and discussing results and diagnoses with physicians.
  9. Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses.
  10. Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary.
  11. Working with radiology lab technicians to perfect image quality.
  12. Working with primary care doctors, nurses, and radiology technicians to administer treatment and manage pain.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans, and programs of the organization.
  2. Performs other duties as assigned/directed by the Head of the department.
Job Knowledge & Skills
  • Valid and in good standing medical license to practice in the country of residence.
  • Knowledge of general surgery practices to help diagnose and treat injuries.
  • Strong motor skills and manual dexterity to handle small tools and imaging equipment.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours based on the clinic’s needs.
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail to interpret imaging results.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
  • Proficient in general radiology techniques, including X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound.
  • The ability to work well alone and within a team.
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience 5 years of experience in a similar role, with 2 years in GCC (preferred). Competencies

Education
  • Doctoral degree in Doctor of Medicine or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
