Special Needs Assistance County Meath Permanent This Position is available for Parttime/flexible FullTime permanent hours Monday to Sunday 20 hours to 40 hours a week available *Overseas applicants will not be considered at this time* Job Description When your work matters it matters where you work BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Health Care Assistants to look after children and adults with complex needs in the community. This position is ideal for someone who is an experienced Health Care Assistant is passionate about providing excellent and reliable care and enjoys working with people. Role of a Special Needs Assistant We are currently seeking people with experience and/or qualifications in Special Needs Assisting to work in home care with children younger adults and potentially aging adults Assisting Clients with personal care and supervise all daily activities. To be responsible for monitoring client s health and wellbeing and to implement learning activities in their Care plan. The qualities of a Special Needs Assistant include an ability to deliver a high standard of care and Support to Clients and their families. To demonstrate kindness compassion patience and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- QQI Level 5/6 Cert in Special Needs Assisting or working towards
- Previous experience working as a SNA professional preferred
- Must have a valid driving licence and access to a car
- Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland without visa sponsorship
- Mandatory Certifications up to date
- Fluent in English
