SUPERVISOR INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING)

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING) in the Waterfront Operation Division of FW DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET BAHRAIN. The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week). Relocation and recruitment incentives up to 25% may be authorized. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:

1. Administering work orders for the repair and modernization of naval vessels;
2. Reviewing specifications to ensure completeness and conformance to authorized work;
3. Interfacing with members of the ship's force to provide current project information and notify responsible personnel of scheduled evolutions;
4. Acting as funds administrator for the assigned availability and contracts;
5. Scheduling work items and specifications of subordinate team members to track the completion of ship repair and maintenance.
