Position Title: Road Inspector Work Location/Term: Riyadh, KSA / Full-time Supervision: Site Inspections, Quality Control, Compliance Monitoring Reports to: Road Engineer

Responsibilities:

Site Inspections : Ensure compliance with designs, specifications, and safety standards for road construction activities.
Quality Control : Monitor materials and workmanship to meet project and international standards, reporting non-conformities.
Material & Equipment Verification : Ensure materials (asphalt, aggregates) and equipment are in line with specifications.
Testing & Sampling : Oversee tests (compaction, asphalt, concrete) to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Documentation : Maintain inspection reports and track progress, ensuring compliance.
Coordination with Contractors : Resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Safety Monitoring : Ensure adherence to safety protocols and report unsafe practices.
Compliance Monitoring : Ensure adherence to local regulations and environmental standards.

Competencies:

Knowledge of road construction methods, materials, and standards.
Ability to interpret technical documents and design drawings.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
Effective communication with contractors and project stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

Education : Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR Diploma with 7 years of experience.
Experience : 3-7 years in road construction inspections or quality control.
Certifications : Certification in quality assurance/inspection preferred. SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) registration.
Language Skills : Proficiency in English required, Arabic preferred.
Skills : Familiarity with testing equipment, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of safety standards.
