About the job Consultant - Orthopedic Surgeon
A prestigious client of Domo Ventures is looking for a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon for Saudi Arabia. Interested candidates, please apply Title:- Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon
- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) or doctor of medicine (MD) degree, or equivalent, and successful five-year residency in orthopedic surgery
- Specialization in Orthopedic surgery or fellowship training after completing surgical residency.
- Completion of Western certificates such as American Board, Canadian, UK Membership/Fellowship or its equivalent such as Arab Board/Indian Board
- 5 to 10 years
- Valid SCFHS License as a Consultant (for Candidates within KSA)
- For candidates applying from outside of KSA - should be eligible to have a medical license as per the SCFHS criteria.
- Hold a valid medical license from your home country
- Examine, diagnose, treat, and perform surgery on patients who have disorders, malformations, diseases, and injuries of the musculoskeletal system
- Interview patients to gather information on medical history, allergies, and lifestyle
- Diagnose patients using specialized equipment for identifying bone fractures or defects
- Perform surgical procedures like rotator cuff repair, total shoulder replacement, and arthroscopy (e.g., for frozen shoulder or impingement syndrome).
- Prescribe medications and supplements, as needed, and make diet, hygiene, lifestyle, and exercise recommendations to boost the healing process
- Execute X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning.
