We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cloud, Network, and IT Operations Manager who will take a hands-on approach in managing our IT infrastructure transition from one outsourcing provider to another. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, helpdesk solutions, endpoint management, network operations, and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for establishing global standards while collaborating and leading a small team across eight countries. Responsible for the planning, management, delivery, and continuous improvement of the IT services delivered to Meiyume’s team members globally. Ensuring effective incident management and disaster recovery plans are in place, maintained and regularly tested with each of the appropriate business units. Effective planning and management of the IT operations team associated service providers and financial budgets and processes such as ensuring Service Level Agreement targets are in place, in line with Meiyume’s business needs. Cloud architecture is constantly reviewed to ensure it meets business needs regards to recovery time (RTO) and recovery point (RPO) objectives. Ensuring service providers are running a Network Operations Centre (NOC), Security Operations Centre (SOC) and application monitoring centre that continuously proactively monitors Meiyume’s key services. Contribute to the overall planning and delivery of the IT department goals and objectives. Maintain positive relationships with all members across internal and external parties by building trust and leading by example. In addition, by being part of the IT leadership team, the person should be proactive to identify latest technology trends, promote best work practices, drive business solutions, and process system improvements. Key Results / Accountabilities: People Management:

  1. Lead a small team to ensure the continuous operations and continuous enhancement of cloud services, service management, network performance, disaster recovery plans, data recovery, cyber security operations closely partnering with internal and external service providers.
Infrastructure Transition:
  1. Lead the migration of IT infrastructure from the current outsourcing provider to a new provider, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a detailed migration plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Cloud Management:
  1. Oversee the deployment and management of cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure and Office 365, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  2. Implement best practices for cost management, resource allocation, and performance tuning within Azure.
Network Operations:
  1. Manage global network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency across all locations.
  2. Implement and monitor network security measures to safeguard sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.
IT Operations:
  1. Develop and enforce global IT standards and policies for helpdesk operations, endpoint management, and cybersecurity best practices.
  2. Lead and mentor IT operations teams across different regions to ensure alignment with global standards.
Helpdesk and Endpoint Management:
  1. Optimize helpdesk procedures to improve response time and resolution rates, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  2. Implement and manage endpoint security measures and policies, ensuring all devices are compliant with security protocols.
Cybersecurity Leadership:
  1. Work closely with our Senior Manager Cyber Security & IT Governance to develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect organizational data and IT assets.
  2. Conduct regular security assessments and audits, addressing vulnerabilities promptly.
Event Leadership:
  1. Coordinate events locally and globally with peers and/or third parties to up to 1,000 attendees including global townhalls on a quarterly basis.
Collaboration and Leadership:
  1. Foster collaboration among IT teams in different countries, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  2. Act as a key point of contact for escalations and issues related to cloud, network, and IT operations.
Reporting and Analysis:
  1. Monitor and report on the performance of IT operations, providing strategic insights to senior management.
  2. Utilize metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of IT services and implement improvements as needed.
Primary Interfaces: This position’s primary interfaces are:
  1. Internal: Li + Fung Trading. Meiyume Technology team. Every business team globally.
  2. External: Service providers. Technology vendors / suppliers.
Qualification & Experience and Competencies: Education and Experience (MUST HAVE) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience managing IT operations, with a strong focus on cloud services (Microsoft Azure) and network. Have the technical skills to move infrastructure from one provider to another, understand Cloud, 365, network, firewalls etc. Hands-on experience with network management and helpdesk operations in a global context. Strong documentation skills – Network diagrams, architecture diagrams, test scripts. Strong Project Management skills – Self manages priorities, tasks and knows where projects are at without constant reminders. Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks; experience with ITIL practices. Solid understanding of endpoint management solutions and cybersecurity best practices. Technical and event experience to broadcast global townhall events including Teams/Zoom broadcast including camera and audio setup across multiple locations. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience managing teams in multiple locations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across diverse cultures and regions. Preferred Criteria (NICE TO HAVE) ITIL, ITSM, COBIT and/or Agile certifications highly regarded. Track record in Office 365 migration would be an advantage. Previous experience in leading a team with strong experience in IT Service management and production support process. Holder of Microsoft and/or Linux certification is an advantage. Knowledge of EDI, middleware tools (e.g., Boomi, managed file transfer) is an advantage. Prior experience in infrastructure design and cloud migration is a big plus. Track record in Office 365 migration would be an advantage including knowledge of Microsoft’s entire cloud suite including Office, Teams, Power Automate, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Certified PM (PMP) and/or Agile Scrum Master. ISO27001 experience highly regarded. Knowledge of Gartner’s run, grow and transform model. Experienced in manufacturing or B2B industry is an absolute advantage. Economic Dimensions: Create 3-year financial plan for IT Operations specific opex and capex costs. Forecast quarterly upcoming spend for IT Operations vendors and internal costs. Categorise costs for IT Operations against Gartner’s run, grow and transform model. Forecast people spend across employees and consultants for IT operations. Country / Cluster Specific Information: With an annual budget consisting of opex and capex this position is responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of IT provided services to the various Meiyume's businesses globally across eight locations including United States, United Kingdom, France, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and China. Full responsibility for ensuring the highest possible availability of the business computing environment at Meiyume locations globally through effective design, implementation, and support. Any interruption or outage of any component of this environment could cause an immediate discontinuance in the ability for:
  • Manufacturing sites to manufacture products,
  • Warehouses / distribution centres to ship products and receive raw materials,
  • Offices to communicate using tools such productivity tools and critical ERP systems.
In short, Meiyume’s business could come to an immediate halt if the responsibilities of this position are not executed to an extremely high level of standard.
