Advanced Cyber Security Researcher

Fujitsu Research of Europe DSRG- Principal Researcher/ Senior Researcher Slough (UK) We are looking for Senior Researcher/Principal Researcher in our Data &Security Research Group working on technology for Data Trust and advanced AI security in the future that mandatory for data driven world. as part of a Global research team. Your role will involve: (Several of the following)

• Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function’s strategy and action plan and the broader organization’s mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
• Use the organization’s formal development framework to identify the team’s individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfil personal potential.
• Identify shortcomings in current processes and procedures, methodologies, and tools from own discipline and suggest improvements.
• Manage and file Intellectual Property applications for patents to protect own research work.
• Identify new opportunities, conduct innovative scientific experiments and tests, and translate results into practical applications.
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
• Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. For example, asks questions to encourage others to think differently and enrich their analyses of complex situations. Accurately defines the key elements of complex, ambiguous situations.

This role will report into Data & Security Research Group Manager and be part of research for Data & Security in our Global Laboratory structure. Your experience You will be able to demonstrate: You have an Academic Degree, ideally a PhD or as a minimum a Masters in a relevant field)

• Strong communication skills that enable you to develop relationships with new stakeholders, and maintain those relationships
• Experience to manage the R&D team
• Deep knowledge in any one field of Data management, AI, and Security
• Skilled at facilitating & project managing to motivate and lead potential customers to jointly create Proof-of-concepts and technological proposals
• Good track records of publishing research papers, filing patents
• Experience in academic publication
