About the Role : We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Specialist to help us expand into cross-border influencer marketing markets, focusing on regions such as Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, and beyond. This is a part-time or freelance role with the potential to become a core team member of our future overseas office. Key Responsibilities :
- Client Acquisition : Identify and establish relationships with brands and businesses looking to expand their presence in cross-border markets through influencer marketing.
- Market Research : Analyze market trends, client needs, and influencer dynamics in target regions to provide strategic recommendations.
- Partnership Development : Build and nurture relationships with local influencers, agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate collaboration.
- Campaign Support : Assist in coordinating influencer campaigns, including sourcing influencers and ensuring deliverables align with client objectives.
- Lead Generation : Create and execute outreach strategies to generate leads in target industries (e.g., beauty, consumer goods, health supplements).
- Reporting : Prepare regular reports on client engagement, market opportunities, and campaign performance for internal review.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the influencer marketing or digital marketing industry.
- Strong understanding of cross-border markets and cultural nuances, particularly in the APAC region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean are a plus).
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with influencer platforms, social media marketing trends, and campaign management tools is an advantage.
- Existing network with influencers or brands in the target regions.
- Experience in cross-border e-commerce or digital marketing.
- Part-time or freelance, with flexible hours.
- Remote work or based in Australia, Singapore, or Hong Kong.
