CREATIVE ILLUSTRATOR / DESIGNER

FULL TIME Western Hours REMOTE position We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Illustrator with strong expertise in creating presentation fliers, email templates, and web pages. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. This full-time role requires someone who is highly responsive, a self-starter, and possesses a strong grasp and keen eye for colors, graphics, and typography. The ability to make suggestions and confidently stand behind them is essential. If you do not meet these criteria, please do not apply.

Day-to-Day Description

Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off. Rapid conceptualization of original design ideas, creating storyboards and mocks to get approval in order to continue to a finish point. The objective is to make all illustrations highly marketable and user-friendly, avoiding clutter and complex layouts in both web design and print design. Log all work in stages in the backlog web portal; we will train you.

Responsibilities

1. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
2. Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks.
3. Present designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
4. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Requirements

1. Proven work experience as a web layout designer.
2. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
3. Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
4. Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
5. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
6. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
7. Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies.
