The Facility Management Director oversees the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of facilities, ensuring they meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and resource management to optimize facility performance and support operational goals. Key Accountabilities

  1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness across all managed facilities.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations, including maintenance, repairs, safety protocols, and energy management.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and managing expectations.
  4. Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and drive cost optimization while maintaining service quality.
  5. Lead, mentor, and manage facility management teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  6. Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  7. Develop and implement emergency response plans and risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Lead the resolution of operational disruptions, ensuring minimal downtime.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience We Are Looking For:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven track record of at least 8–10 years in facility management, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
  3. Experience in managing large-scale operations, multi-site facilities, or complex infrastructure.
  4. In-depth understanding of facility management principles, including operations, maintenance, and energy efficiency.
  5. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards.
  6. Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial management practices.
  7. Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex operational challenges.
