As the UX Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of UX designers and researchers in creating engaging, user-centric experiences across all digital touchpoints. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and key stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and deliver exceptional value to the users. With a strong focus on mentorship, design strategy, and user research, you will drive innovation while ensuring the consistency and quality of user experience across platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and Manage UX Team : Oversee a team of UX designers and researchers, providing mentorship, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Design Strategy and Execution : Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define user experience strategies that align with business objectives.
  • User Research : Guide the team in conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and analytics data analysis.
  • Design Reviews and Quality Assurance : Conduct regular design critiques and reviews to ensure high-quality, consistent, and user-centered design output.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to integrate user experience into the product development lifecycle.
  • Prototyping and Wireframing : Lead the creation of wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Present and articulate design solutions to stakeholders, gaining buy-in and ensuring alignment with the business vision.
  • User Testing and Feedback : Implement iterative design processes based on user feedback, continuously improving the user journey and interaction experience.
  • Design Systems and Standards : Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across all digital assets and products.
  • Innovation and Trends : Stay updated on the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring the team is equipped with the latest methodologies and techniques.

Key Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects across various platforms (web, mobile, etc.), demonstrating expertise in user-centered design processes.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of designers and researchers.
  • Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design, usability principles, and experience in conducting user research.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with front-end development, design systems, and accessibility best practices is a plus.
