Position Title: Road Engineer Work Location/Term: Riyadh, KSA / Full-time Supervision: Document Review, Site Supervision, Project Management Reports to: Senior Civil & Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Review road infrastructure design and construction documents for compliance with local and international standards.
  • Supervise road construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved designs and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate road works seamlessly with overall project designs.
  • Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and resolve any quality-related issues.
  • Track project progress, report milestones, and address delays or challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Competency Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of road engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management tools.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills for addressing construction challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • BSc in Civil Engineering with 7+ years of experience, or MSc with 5+ years.
  • Experience:
    • Proven expertise in road infrastructure design, supervision, and project management.
  • Certifications:
    • Registered Engineer with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
    • English proficiency (Arabic is an advantage).
