- Lead mentor and train the Banquets team.
- Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained.
- Strategize on new products and service offerings.
- Create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
- Prepare daily assignment sheets for all banquet colleagues and conduct prefunction meetings.
- Confers with the host of the function on any lastminute arrangements coordinate with kitchen in providing for extra or decreased number of covers when necessary and accommodates guest needs efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy banquet/event operation Hotel
- Diploma in Food & Beverage or related field
- Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Ability to lead by example believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times.
