Working under the guidance of experienced professionals you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation monitoring and maintenance of security systems and processes to protect our digital assets from cyber threats. - Assist in the deployment configuration and maintenance of security infrastructure including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) endpoint protection solutions and security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Monitor security events and alerts generated by various security tools and systems and respond promptly to potential security incidents or breaches
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify and address security weaknesses in our systems and networks
- Help develop and implement security policies procedures and controls to safeguard our data and infrastructure from cyber threats
- Contribute to incident response efforts by assisting in the investigation containment and recovery of security incidents and breaches
- Stay informed about emerging cyber threats vulnerabilities and trends and proactively recommend security enhancements or countermeasures
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate security into the design and development of new systems applications and services
- Support security awareness and training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Assist with security compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to internal stakeholders on cyber security best practices and procedures
- Bachelors degree in computer science information security or a related field
- 12 years of experience in a cyber security role or related field (internship or entrylevel positions)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts operating systems and common cyber security principles
- Familiarity with security technologies and tools such as firewalls antivirus software SIEM solutions etc
- Handson experience with security assessment tools and techniques including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework ISO/IEC 27001 etc
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment
