Job Role: Parts Executive Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 6:30 PM) AEST - (Australia Time) (3:00 AM / - 1:00 PM - India Time) Salary range: 800 - 1000 AUD Monthly 45,000 - 60,000 Rupees Monthly Dependant On Experience Who We Are: At Hunt St we help Aussie companies directly hire top 5% remote talent in the Philippines, India & Nepal. You will be hired directly by the client, we are not an outsourcing agency. Work is based in our clients office located in Kolkata, West Bengal. Australia is only 2 hours ahead of the Philippines, 4 hours ahead of Nepal, and 5.5 hours ahead of India, so the working hours are typically much better than working for a European or North American company. Who The Client Is: The client is an Australian appliance repair service provider dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring quick turnaround times for repairs. Role Overview: We are looking for a Parts Executive to support our appliance repair technicians with effective parts management. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of appliance parts and their applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory of appliance parts, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet technician needs.
- Assist repair technicians in identifying required parts for appliance repair and sourcing them efficiently.
- Communicate with suppliers to order, track, and receive parts promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inventory levels, and suppliers.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management practices to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to provide timely updates on parts availability.
- Handle any discrepancies in parts received and coordinate with suppliers for resolutions.
- Support the repair technicians by providing additional administrative assistance as needed.
- Must have knowledge in all kitchen and laundry appliances, minimum in the domestic range, and at least minimal experience in the commercial range.
- Ideal candidate to have parts experience in both domestic and commercial appliances or be a x-technician for kitchen and laundry domestic & commercial products.
- Must be able to see photos, look at exploded views and identify parts easily and be switched on to think outside of the box,
- Proven experience in inventory management or parts procurement, preferably in an appliance or repair service environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with various appliance parts and their functions.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and technicians.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to inventory challenges.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
