Associate Counsel

Our client, a leading fintech provider company, is seeking a lawyer to join their legal team as an Associate Counsel specializing in employment law. Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of employment-related matters, including hiring, termination, workplace policies, and employee relations.
• Manage contentious employment issues such as disputes, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring minimal risk to the company.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, HR policies, and related documentation.
• Support the implementation of employment-related compliance initiatives and training programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on legal and business objectives.
• Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, providing timely advice on potential impacts to the organization.
• Represent the company in discussions and negotiations with external parties, including regulators and external counsel.

• A lawyer with a minimum of 3 PQE in employment law.
• Proven expertise in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused legal solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
