This is a branch based customer facing role focused on servicing, meeting and greeting customers upon branch entry, directing clients to appropriate channels while focusing on digital activation and producing quality referrals to key business areas. The role holder should also focus on the migration of transactions from the teller area into lower cost channels.In this role, you will:Maintain operational standards and efficiency and minimise operational risk.Ensure outward clearing cheques are processed on a timely basis.Handle ATMs, Treasury & Cash Handling when required.Receive cash deposits in LCY and FCY and detect forged from genuine.Pay cash and process relative vouchers after verifying customer's signature.Prepare and deliver cash bundles to chief cashier in order to keep his/her cash drawer within set cash holdings limit.Check SFE/HUB totals and perform cash balancing during the day (Midday Balancing).Count vouchers and perform day end balancing.Greet and answer queries from customers entering the branch.Effectively educate and guide the customers to enhance the usage of the bank's alternative delivery channels.Attend and handle all customers' requests and queries.Ensure compliance with Group policies to include money laundering deterrence and local regulations and any laws / operating procedures connected with business areas of responsibility.Work as part of an integrated branch management team to ensure standards are met and operating models delivered.Requirements:To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:Excellent customer service skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Customer driven with a strong focus on quality of service.Proven ability in making lending decisions in accordance with bank policy and guidelines.A clear understanding of how value is created within the Premium segment, both for customers and the bank.You'll achieve more when you join HSBC.
