We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Qatar LLC.

Position:Asset Integrity Engineer

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for supporting the Head of Asset Integrity in carrying out support services of the section. This includes generating inspection programs, participating in failure investigations, and assisting during shutdowns/field inspections wherever required. The role must ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with the company's Occupational Health, Quality, Safety, and Environment procedures.

Your main duties will be to:

Awareness and compliance with the company's Integrated Management Systems (Quality; Environment; Occupational Health & Safety; Responsible Care; & Energy Management Systems; and IFA Product Stewardship).

Conduct Risk Based Inspection (RBI) for integrity management of all pressure equipment like pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and pressure relieving devices.

Perform static equipment inspection activities including pre-shutdown inspections (on-stream) and internal inspections during shutdowns.

Oversee the repair of Static Equipment and Piping following ASME PCC-2.

Ensure welding quality assurance and control on piping and static equipment fabrication and weld repairs.

Involve in projects during engineering, fabrication, and site installation of static equipment and piping.

Liaise with external inspectors to carry out assigned tasks and inspections on equipment.

Keep informed of technological developments to recommend opportunities for increased effectiveness and cost reduction.

Participate in the on-the-job training of new and trainee technicians.

Maintain high personnel knowledge and be a resource person in regard to material technology, corrosion, failure mechanisms, welding, and inspection methods.

ProfileQualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Fertilizer, Petrochemicals, or Oil & Gas Industry.

Possess relevant professional certification.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
