With over 15 years in business, we're always on the lookout for talented people to join our team.The RoleThe Logistics Coordinator position is dynamic and requires a combination of organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. They are essential in ensuring that goods are delivered timely and efficiently while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulations.ResponsibilitiesResearch and resolve purchase order discrepancies pertaining to price and quantity differences.Sort/distribute mail, establish and maintain filing systems, order and maintain office supplies, update asset and inventory control, and greet visitors while answering/screening and redirecting phone calls to appropriate staff/business unit.Manage and prioritize own workload to meet urgent deadlines and provide effective support as part of an administrative team.Process, confirm, and track all purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.Demonstrate judgment, decision-making, and analytical skills to determine priority and forwarding of action items to staff, supervisor, and/or management.Work collaboratively with all internal departments to effectively execute procurement-related activities and successfully resolve issues.Generate and distribute reports, expedite orders, arrange shipping, and prepare files for costing.Assist in general departmental issues including reviewing invoices, assisting with issue resolution and troubleshooting, and building understanding and capabilities in procurement processes.Identify and adopt best procurement practices and support corporate policies, goals/projects.Determine the extent of information to provide in responding to inquiries and assess confidentiality of information to avoid improper release/disclosure of information and identify and resolve discrepancies.Requisition supplies and materials.Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and company equipment for maintenance and repair work.Conduct research on potential suppliers, review P.O.s, and compare best prices and products available.Actively participate in team member efforts as requested.Perform additional administrative duties as required.QualificationsMinimum of one (1) year experience in Business Administration or Logistics. A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce, economics, or engineering is required.1+ year experience in the Energy Industry is an asset.
