Look no further!Our modern, multi-modality clinics are expanding, and we're actively seeking a skilled and registered part-time temporary Medical Radiology Technologist Team Lead (X-Ray Technologist Team Lead) to join our Savanna team. Candidates must be registered with either the CAMRT & ACMDTT or the CSCLXT & ACCLXT.As the Medical Radiology Technologist Team Lead (X-Ray Technologist Team Lead) for our Savanna clinic, you will empower radiology technologists to ensure smooth workflow, quality patient care, and adherence to protocols. Your role will involve conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, providing guidance, training, and support to team members while fostering collaboration and communication among healthcare professionals across departments.With a history of success in inspiring, mentoring, and leading teams, you'll bring invaluable experience to this role. Your strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities will be essential for informed decision-making and exceptional patient care.If you're passionate about delivering excellence in patient care and possess these qualities, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dynamic team!What You'll Be DoingPerform diagnostic imaging procedures using medical radiology equipment.Lead and mentor the Savanna clinic radiology team, offering guidance, support, and feedback, while fostering a positive work environment.Effectively oversee workflow management, handling scheduling and managing time-off requests (vacation, sick, personal leaves), and reviewing and approving timesheets (including overtime requests).Support recruitment efforts, help to facilitate onboarding processes, contribute to training initiatives for new team members and practicum students, and spearhead continuous education and development programs to elevate the skills and knowledge of the radiology team.Implement and oversee performance management strategies, including goal setting, regular performance evaluations, and recognition programs.Oversee equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure compliance with safety standards, while also managing the ordering and maintenance of supplies to support smooth clinic operations.Ensure accurate and efficient execution of procedures in alignment with established protocols and relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and documentation requirements.Identify and implement process improvements to optimize quality and efficiency, upholding standards of patient care and safety.Act as a departmental bridge between Radiologists, Clinic Administration, X-Ray Technologists and other departments, fostering collaborative relationships to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and enhance clinic efficiency.What We're Looking ForNecessary education and active membership in good standing with the CAMRT & ACMDTT, OR the CSCLXT & ACCLXT.Minimum 5 years' experience as a medical radiology technologist, proficient in diverse x-ray procedures in the following radiographic modalities, including: Mammography, General Radiography, Fluoroscopy and Bone Mineral Densitometry.Prior leadership or supervisory experience with strong people management abilities in team motivation, task delegation, and problem-solving.Proficiency in utilizing a variety of software programs and technologies, demonstrating adaptability and comfort in working with diverse digital tools.Commitment to continuous professional development, including staying updated on advancements in people management, medical radiology, and patient care.Excellent communication skills when dealing with patients, peers, and physicians.Experience maintaining appropriate staffing levels, coordinating daily work activities and ensuring department supplies are maintained.Subject matter expertise on all department equipment with the ability to ensure equipment is performing effectively.Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.What We OfferExplore flexible opportunities tailored to your lifestyle.Enjoy a competitive remuneration package.Take advantage of a bonus pay structure for acquiring additional skills and expanding your expertise.We prioritize your health and wellness with comprehensive and competitive benefits.Enjoy a sign-on bonus upon completing your probation period with our team.
