This is a fixed term opportunity to contribute to the undertaking of policy analysis and research and to address key economic issues and questions related to cash, money and payments. Te tūranga – The role As the Senior Analyst you will:
  • Engage and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of policy to ensure it is practical, robust and fit for purpose.
  • Build and maintain competency and capability to deliver outcomes aligned with the team's policy goals.
  • Provide advice to policy makers and present material to internal working groups, steering groups and advisory groups, as well as the payments and currencies committee.
This is a fixed term opportunity through to December 2025. Ō pūkenga – About you You’ll need:
  • Relevant professional experience with a tertiary qualification in either economics/finance/law and/or public policy.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to identify and influence key audiences.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships particularly with external stakeholders.
The anticipated appointment range for this role is $108,043 to $117,046 (actual salary will be dependent on your skills and experience).
