A Day of Your Life As the Site Lead for our Penang office, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the office. Your key duties will include:
- Managing and supporting the HR, administrative, IT, and finance functions for the 25-person Penang team
- Overseeing payroll functions, including salary processing, benefits administration, and compliance with Malaysian labor laws
- Liaising with the Hong Kong head office to align policies, procedures, and initiatives across the organization, while ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws
- Overseeing staff hiring, training, performance management, and professional development
- Handling administrative tasks such as office management, procurement, and facilities maintenance
- Troubleshooting IT issues and coordinating with the HK IT team to ensure smooth technical operations
- Fostering a positive work culture and promoting team collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar multi-functional leadership role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in Malaysia is a plus
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficient in MS Office applications and familiarity with HR/Finance/IT software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
