  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Certificate, Diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in printing technology is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a printing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of printing machinery, materials, and production processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs.
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Machine Management

  • Operational Oversight: Supervise the setup, operation, and maintenance of all machineries.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and servicing of machines, coordinating with maintenance personnel and external service providers as necessary.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor machine performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and output.
  • SOPs: Creation of New SOPs - Review and Approval – Training - Implementation - Updating Existing SOPs.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels of all printing materials, including paper, inks, and other consumables.
  • Purchasing: Coordinate with the purchasing team to order materials in a timely manner, ensuring that production is not interrupted due to material shortages.
  • Waste Reduction: Implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize the use of materials.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all materials meet the required quality standards before they are used in the production process.

2. Training and Development

  • New Employee Training: Develop and conduct comprehensive training programs for new printing machine operators, covering machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Ongoing Training: Provide continuous training and development opportunities for existing staff to enhance their skills and keep up with technological advancements.
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess the performance of operators and provide feedback and additional training as needed.
  • New machine/material/method: Provide continuous training and development opportunities on the new input to enhance performance, quality, and standards.

  • Product/Service Research & Development
  • Market Research and Analysis in terms of machineries, materials, techniques, and solution providing.
