Why does this job exist and why is it critical? Responsible for the development, management, and execution of solar projects for enterprise customers. This role includes acting as a pre-sales subject matter expert, supporting Account Managers in closing deals by providing technical expertise, project feasibility analysis, and tailored solutions. The individual will bridge the gap between technical requirements and sales objectives to ensure the successful deployment of solar solutions that align with customer needs and organizational goals. What are you accountable for?
  1. Collaborate with Account Managers to assess customer needs and design tailored solar solutions.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for prospective clients.
  3. Prepare and present detailed project proposals, including cost-benefit analysis, technical specifications, and ROI projections.
  4. Address customer inquiries and concerns about technical solutions, system performance, and project timelines.
  5. Project Development and Management:
  6. Lead the development and execution of enterprise solar projects from inception to completion.
  7. Oversee the design and engineering process, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  8. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to develop project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  9. Monitor project progress and address any technical or logistical issues that arise.
  10. Subject Matter Expertise:
  11. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in solar energy.
  12. Serve as the primary technical advisor to the sales team, providing training and insights to enhance their knowledge of solar solutions.
  13. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to showcase expertise and build trust.
  14. Stakeholder Communication:
  15. Act as the main point of contact between the customer, internal teams, and external partners during the pre-sales and project execution phases.
  16. Ensure clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues promptly.
  17. Provide post-installation follow-ups to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
  18. Reporting and Analysis:
  19. Generate regular project reports, detailing milestones, financial performance, and any deviations from the original plan on weekly basis.
  20. Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects.
