Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)
- Handle recruitment of employees, local and foreign workers, outsourced workers and expatriates which includes but is not limited to:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job requisition to candidate onboarding and announcement.
- Review and verify recruitment requisitions, job descriptions, candidate profiles, and interview evaluations to ensure accuracy and compliance with the company's recruitment policies and procedures.
- Prepare appointment letters for newly hired employees to ensure they accurately reflect the agreed-upon terms and conditions, including salary, benefits, position, and other relevant details, comply with relevant employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations to mitigate legal risks.
- Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date recruitment database, keeping track of appointment letter details and other relevant information.
- Assist in annual manpower budget preparation, prepare recruitment trackers and analysis. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
- Responsible for Foreign Worker Management which includes but is not limited to:
- Handle daily administration work in accordance with SOP and legislations.
- Prepare documentation and liaise with agents, government authorities and Site HR for work permit applications, renewals and terminations.
- Prepare documentation and follow up on payment requisitions.
- Apply Check-out Memo, Calling Visa and Special Pass.
- Prepare documents for foreign embassy attestation.
- Liaise with foreign manpower suppliers.
- Assist in CIDB Green Card application and renewal.
- Responsible for all matters related to Expatriate application (ESD).
- Responsible for JobsMalaysia / MyFutureJobs.
- Review and update Foreign Workers Management Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in all matters related to Act 446 (Regulations under Employees’ Minimum Standards of Housing, Accommodations and Amenities (Amendment) Act 2019) and Certificate for Accommodation Application.
- Conduct scheduled workers’ hostels management checking and audit to ensure HODs comply to Act 446.
- Responsible for HR Policies & Procedures which includes assist in the implementation and administration of Human Resources policies, programs and practices, and periodically review and update the employee handbook.
- Responsible for Industrial Relations which includes assist in the administration of documentation and follow-up on industrial accidents, disciplinary matters, and related investigations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the superior/management from time to time, ensuring adherence to company policies and priorities.
Requirements:
- Possess Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines.
- Possess minimum 5 years of Recruitment and Foreign Workers Management experience.
- Minimum 5 years' HR work experience in Plantation, Property or manufacturing industries.
- Confident, independent, adaptable, detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and solve problems efficiently.
- Proven experience on recruitment processes and end-to-end verification.
