Head of Finance – Active8 Wireless Location: Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi Active8 Wireless supports Techno Communications USA , managing 350+ retail stores across the U.S. selling Metro by T-Mobile products. We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to oversee the financial aspects of our retail operations. In this pivotal role, you will take complete charge of the financial operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day management while focusing on revenue protection, expense control, and performance optimization. This is an on-site support role, requiring strong understanding of BPO operations, associated risks, and mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Oversight:

• Timely reconciliation of daily bank deposits made by stores; resolving variances.
• Auditing sales transactions to identify and address fraudulent activities.
• Enforcing robust control over commission income and device subsidy calculations, dispute filing, follow-ups, and management reporting.

• Employee Financial Management:

• Accurate calculation and disbursement of employee commissions; resolving queries promptly.
• Auditing payroll reports and ensuring accurate accounting.

• Inventory and Reconciliations:

• Managing inventory reconciliation, variances, adjustments, write-offs, and transfers.
• Complete ownership of QuickBooks Online administration and operations.

• Strategic Leadership:

• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, coaching department heads, and driving financial awareness.
• Overseeing the preparation of monthly financial commentary.
• Managing books of accounts and related reconciliations.
• Leading ERP implementation, particularly financial modules.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant/FCCA (US CPA preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in high-volume retail financial operations.
• Proven success in ERP implementation, particularly financial modules.
• Leadership experience managing large teams and collaborating with functional heads.

Skills:

• Strong analytical capabilities with a sharp focus on critical financial metrics.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
