Position Overview: The Associate Director of Business Finance will lead the financial planning & analysis functions of the organization. This role is responsible for developing financial strategies, managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and providing insights to support our Platforms Division. The Director will work closely with Platform Division’s senior management to drive financial performance and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives and long-term financial goals.
- Exposure with Pricing & Commercials, O2C, Review of Contracts & SOW’s, Billing to Collections Cycle
- Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting activities, Margin Improvements & Recovery.
- Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial data to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the organization’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor and control expenditures to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Prepare Bridge Plans & Conduct variance analysis to identify and address budget deviations & Leakages.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Oversee the management of financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Strategic Partnerships:
- Collaborate with platforms Division to support strategic projects and initiatives.
- Provide financial guidance and support for mergers, acquisitions, and other business development activities.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems.
- Implement best practices to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field OR MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 4+ years in a managerial or director-level role.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling and forecasting. Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, Power BI).
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide insights that drive business decisions. Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment preferred.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
