OSP Design Engineer (Pref AT&T Experience) Remote Immediately or 2-3 weeks joiner Job Description- We are seeking a highly skilled OSP (Outside Plant) Fielding Quality Control (QC) Engineer to oversee the quality control processes for the construction, installation, and commissioning of outside plant networks. The OSP Fielding QC Engineer will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections, monitoring construction activities, and ensuring that the outside plant infrastructure meets the required design, quality, and safety standards. This role requires a strong technical background in OSP design and construction, along with the ability to manage field inspections and resolve quality issues on-site. Roles and Responsibilities-

• The role requires significant time spent in the field conducting inspections at OSP construction sites.
• The OSP Fielding QC Engineer will need to adapt to various site conditions, including working outdoors in varying weather and terrain.
• The position may require travel to multiple sites within a specific region.
• Strong knowledge of OSP construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Experience with quality control processes, inspections, and testing in field environments.
• Familiarity with fiber optic testing equipment (e.g., OTDR, fiber testers, and power meters).
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills to manage inspections, reports, and non-conformance tracking.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address quality issues and propose corrective actions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and project teams.
