Sr Inspector I, IIS Training Job

Sr. Inspector I, IIS Training An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Inspector, IIS Training, based in KSA who will report directly to the Section Head, Lifting. Summary: We are seeking a motivated Senior Inspector, IIS who is responsible for conducting inspection activities in accordance with approved inspection plans, internal procedures, and international standards. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  1. Carrying out inspections/training and duties that comply with agreed written authorities and applicable standards.
  2. Performing annual activity monitoring to demonstrate and ensure ongoing competency.
  3. Raising health and safety concerns as well as quality concerns in writing with HSE and line manager respectively.
  4. Being personally accountable for ensuring the quality of inspections to comply with applicable standards and local authority requirements.
  5. Providing and maintaining excellent client relationships and ensuring that all service standards are met.
  6. Creating inspection reports to cover full deficiencies noticed and referring them to the manufacturer repair procedures as applicable.
  7. Acting on behalf of the company, making full use of technical expertise when required.
  8. Supervising and initiating load test procedures and being capable of reading civil survey reports to meet applicable standards tolerances.
  9. Inspecting materials, products, and works in progress for conformance to specifications, and adjusting process or assembly equipment to meet standards.
  10. Creating work instructions when required to meet international and local authorities' standards.
  11. Re-inspecting equipment and verifying repairs are done correctly and being able to read NOT reports to comply with equipment repair and ensure safe use.
  12. Complying with all applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions as per QHSE, ISO standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  13. Supervising inspectors and trainee inspectors on a defined frequency.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR Diploma in Engineering in a respective inspection discipline.
  • 10 years' experience if Diploma holder OR 5 years' experience if Bachelor holder in a similar field.
  • Internationally recognized certifications (e.g., LEEA, CIA, or other Recognized Lifting Equipment Training/Certification, Recognized Scaffold Certifications Training, Recognized Training in Amusement Rides, and ASNT Level II in MT, PT, UT & VT).
  • Work experience in other recognized similar organizations (added advantage).
  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of applicable international standards.
  • Demonstrated full working knowledge of quality system standards and methods.

  • Compliance with applicable policies, procedures & work instructions as per applicable standards requirements.
