AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. As a Consulting Sales Leader / Enterprise Services Manager (ESM), you will manage the working relationship with key customers, and develop / execute a long-term Professional Services strategy within the accounts. You will be a trusted advisor for our customers, and you will be responsible for all aspects of business development, relationship development, delivery oversight and program management. Key job responsibilities:
  1. Long term development of Cloud Strategy for commercial customers
  2. Engage with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolio
  3. Identify and develop specific opportunities; and supporting business cases
  4. Deal shaping, including estimations, deal pricing, contract negotiations and closing
  5. Planning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget and deliverable responsibilities; and mitigation of delivery risks and issues
  6. Overseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality delivery
  7. Act as single person of contact for Customer executives, developing trusted relationships
  8. Educate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value proposition

  1. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Ability to effectively manage executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
  3. 15+ years of IT consulting/management experience, with demonstrated IT Transformation experience in sales and/or delivery management roles.
  4. Experience working with large multi-national organizations as the Consulting Services lead, Account and/or Relationship Manager roles.
  5. Proven success record as a seller of Professional Services within a Product or Service organization
  6. Experienced with building sales mechanisms and performing sales enablement
  7. Experience in IT Cloud Transformations Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets
  8. Enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL) and Enterprise cybersecurity management frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, NIST CSF)
  9. Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS / virtualization technologies, SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
  10. Knowledge of local Government policies relating to procurement, data management and cybersecurity
