Program Manager

ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Job Description Role: Program Manager Location: Abu Dhabi Role Purpose: Program Manager will supervise, lead and manage programs governed by the Project Management Office. He will assist in planning strategies for the department, follow up, facilitate and coordinate progress of projects, and optimize PMO methodologies. The Program Manager will also provide strategic guidance to project managers and business departments, overseeing project objectives, operations, and progress. Key Accountabilities of the role:

1. Governance of program management, methodologies, and development.
2. Formulate, organize, prioritize and monitor inter-connected projects.
3. Coordinate cross-project activities.
4. Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff.
5. Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
6. Apply change, risk, and resource management.
7. Assume responsibility for the program's people and vendors.
8. Assess program objectives, performance and aim to maximize ROI.
9. Resolve high-level scope issues of projects.
10. Ensure smooth progress and optimized delivery of project objectives.
11. Work with project managers and PMO to enhance PMO processes and methodologies.
12. Ensure integration of PMO with other departments through the project lifecycle.

Work with ADIB's business departments setting IT strategies. Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role: Technical background is preferred. Banking experience is required.
