We help individual and institutional clients protect, grow and successfully transition their wealth.OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE & THE WEALTH REGULATORY AFFAIRS TEAMThe role of Manager, Business Risk Oversight will be responsible for the oversight and reporting of business risks in the Wealth Lines of Business as they relate to the Enterprise Risk Framework. The Regulatory Affairs team is made up of three pillars:Business Risk Oversight & PrivacyRegulatory ChangeTax Advisory & OversightPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESStakeholder EngagementMeet with the Wealth lines of business regularly to understand and review business risks.Promote strong risk management practices and principles across the business unit.Consolidate risk information, summarize issues, analyze trends, and provide regular reporting to senior management.Risk Management ReportingPrepare and present risk forum materials to executives across Wealth.Develop program-based reporting to provide status updates, issues, KPIs, and action plans.Risk Management MonitoringKeep management informed of industry activities, risk issues, and potential risk to Wealth.Promote strong risk management practices across the Wealth lines of business.JOB REQUIREMENTSQualifications/Skills/Experience3-5 years' experience in Wealth in risk management, compliance, or consultant/advisory experience.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and proactive problem management skills.Excellent communication skills (oral and written).Excellent organization skills and ability to summarize large volumes of information.Ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks.Ability to build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders.Technical Knowledge/SkillsExcellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience using business intelligence tools is an asset.EducationCompletion of a University degree and/or equivalent work experience.Professional designations in accounting, risk, law, or compliance are an asset.Additional Information:This position is subject to provincial employment regulations.
