30851 - WAREHOUSE AND INVENTORY DIVISION MANAGER At Eni, we are looking for a Warehouse and Inventory Division Manager within our Branch in Qatar. You will be managing Company's material warehouses and inventory by adopting and implementing sound warehousing and inventory management practices and standards, and by establishing strategic plans and clear performance metrics, to enable maximum plant availability while minimizing waste and optimizing inventory and procurement costs. As a member of the Supply Department - Shared Services Group, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and monitoring the division's strategic roadmap, annual objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) with associated metrics.
  • Controlling and managing inventory costs by ensuring an optimized replenishment model in place that minimizes plant operations risks, procurement costs, warehouse space, wastes, and that increases plant reliability, service levels, and achieving requirement dates.
  • Managing material write-offs for damaged, lost, expired and excess items. Authorizing disposal process in accordance with LNG Table of Financial Authority (TOFA).
  • Managing and approving material preservations schemes identified and implemented in collaboration with end users, Maintenance and Engineering, to achieve highest material availability, condition and protection of capital spares and other inventory.
  • Managing and controlling warehousing operations such as material receiving, issuing, logistics, preservation, cycle counts and housekeeping, while ensuring the implementation of the highest standards of safety, security, quality, financial controls, operational risk management and service levels. Also ensuring the compliance with relevant government regulations such as hazardous chemical storage.
  • Managing and directing third-party contractor(s) to perform the relevant warehousing activities, and control the administration of relevant contracts to ensure all associated terms and conditions and scope are in compliance with company's LNG interests.
  • Assessing, planning and approving all warehousing and inventory growth expectations associated with shutdowns, major projects and/or future expansion, by aligning with end users, Project teams and the Operations Expansion & Start-Up (OES) department, to ensure the department interest alignment and to support an efficient and effective handover to operations.
  • Determining and controlling required policies and procedures related to Warehouse and Inventory management and operations, while assessing necessary improvements and authorizing relevant Management of Change (MOC), in coordination and alignment with stakeholders.
  • Managing and driving synergies and coordination between the multiple current and future warehouse facilities, as well as third-party warehouses or vendor's managed stock. Championing and maintaining strong communication and coordination with other warehouse operators within RLIC, to fulfil urgent material requirements on loan bases and sharing among the Operators.
  • Managing an assessing people development in coordination with department and corporate strategies, to ensure quality succession planning and performance management is in place and sustained.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering or commercial discipline.
  • Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, and relevant supervisory experience.
  • Good knowledge of supplier relations, contracts law, and industry practice.
  • Knowledge of Process Improvement tools and methodology.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP and applicable Supply Chain systems.
  • High standard of written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical skill set.
  • Effective communication.
  • Strong strategic planning acumen.
