Responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end closing procedures. The candidate must have excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.Duties and Responsibilities:Daily, verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivablePrepare sales invoices and follow up with collections.Deep checking of financial transactions and documentsMaintain a proper filing system for accounting documents.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closing reports.Cooperate with internal and external audits to ensure complianceCompute taxes and prepare tax returns (VAT & Income)Assist with tax audits and tax returns filing within time.Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results.Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial statusCompliance with IFRS & IAS principlesJob RequirementsMS Degree in Accounting.Certificate equalized from ministry of education in KSARelevant certification (e.g. ACCA - CMA or CPA) is an added valueMinimum 5 years of relevant experience with emphasis on KSA experienceProven experience as an accountant in Engineering Practice is a mustUnderstanding of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and (IFRS)Hands-on experience with accounting software packages ERP; especially DeltekAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesStrong communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
