Content Designer - Technical Writer - API's - Microservices - Figma - £400/£430 (Inside IR35) - London - Hybrid I am looking for an experienced Content Designer who has commercial experciance working as a Technical Writer with a Software Engineering environment. We are specifically looking for curious, big-picture thinkers who can also deep dive into the details, as well as proactive, eager, self-motivated qualities Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software industry with a focus on APIs, internal tools, or developer tooling
  • Write, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation for Enterprise API Platform and Developer Portals, including guides, tutorials, and in-platform instructions.
  • Produce customer and internal resources like demonstrations, videos, training materials, and FAQs.
  • Create user guides and how-to articles for developers to integrate with APIs. (including Authentication/Authorization using OAuth2 Authentication flows)
  • Develop templates for API reference documentation.
  • Maintain information architecture templates for easy data migration.
  • Gather feedback to improve documentation quality and relevance.
  • Ensure all documentation is technically accurate and adheres to high standards
  • Develop engaging and accessible content that explains complex technical concepts and instructions clearly and concisely
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and related technologies
