Referment are working with a Prop Trading company who are looking for a hands on Data Delivery Lead to build a state of the art data platform that supports their entire trading operation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious trading business that will allow the Data Engineering Manager to be entrepreneurial, while also guiding the strategic direction of the data engineering function. We are looking for someone who is not only an excellent hands on engineer, but also someone with strong architectural skills, management experience and a strategic thinker. Our client is keen to find a Data Engineering Manager with the following experience:
- Excellent Python engineering skills
- Excellent database knowledge and experience working with distributed systems
- Excellent cloud technology experience, ideally AWS or GCP
- Experience managing a team of Data Engineers
