Inspire People are working in partnership with a cloud-based, practice management SaaS provider, serving the healthcare industry who are expanding due to major investment. This is an opportunity for a pro-active Full-stack Web Developer experienced in .NET technologies and Typescript to join a growing development team, to work on exciting brand new and existing features, utilising latest technologies such as .NET 8 and GitHub co-pilot. Remote working (UK only), competitive salary based upon experience plus benefits. This privately owned, profitable, debt-free company has been building clinical systems since 2009. They started out developing patient records systems for therapists in the NHS and still supply systems to major health trusts in the UK used by thousands of clinicians. The goal is to bring together their expertise to create a simple, cost-effective cloud-based service that would be easy for private healthcare professionals to use, secure and compliant with regulatory best practice and to improve patient experience by making it easier to engage with practitioners and gain access to treatment. Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join a collaborative, remote team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building and maintaining web applications, have a strong focus on testing, and be able to work independently or collaboratively as needed. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects, including developing online booking systems, API integrations, facilitating payments, managing self-service appointments, and expanding video consultation functionalities. Technology stack
- .NET framework, specifically .NET 4.8 and .NET 8 (60:40 split)
- C# and VB (Always use the latest version of Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code)
- Entity Framework as their ORM
- TypeScript for front-end development
- Microsoft Azure DevOps for Continuous integration
- If UI work is required, designs are supplied in Figma.
- SQL Management Studio for SQL Server
- Git via BitBucket for our source control
- flow the Git Flow methodology for branch management.
- Communications are facilitated either by API, Service Bus, or SignalR
- Preact for front-end integrations
- GitHub Copilot for AI assistance in coding
- JIRA, Slack, Figma
- Extensive experience with .NET technologies, specifically .NET 4.8 and .NET 8
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Strong SQL skills
- Entity Framework
- Experience with API integrations
- Strong testing skills to ensure comprehensive testing of all code changes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Preact (React experience being transferable)
- Experience with VB (as some older code is in VB)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Functions
- Experience with GitHub Copilot AI, which is used within the company to assist with development tasks.
- Prior remote work experience
