  • 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per fortnight
  • Based in Waitakere hospital
  • Monday to Friday
About Us Regional Work Rehabilitation provides work and learning opportunities to people who are affected by mental illness. About the Role Working with a supportive rehab team which includes other horticulturalists, you'll have a practical hands-on approach and experience in hydroponics and field crop production. You will be responsible for coordinating safe and effective operations of the horticultural affirmative business, which provides opportunities for tangata whai i te to learn horticultural work skills. You will also need to possess the skills to work collaboratively towards achieving clients' individual work or learning goals. About You If you are interested in developing your vocational rehabilitation skills we would like to receive your application. You'll need:
  • Current drivers licence and ability to drive a manual and a small tractor
  • Relevant credentials and work experience (working with populations who have been disadvantaged within the employment sector will be an advantage)
Please note these part time hours include working a full day Wednesday. Due to Parental Leave, there is opportunity to work an additional 4 hours per week for 9 months.
