ROT03028 Commencing January 2025 - 6 Month Relief Position Open We are keen to hear from Senior House Officers PGY3+ looking for a new opportunity commencing January 2025 through to August 2025 in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department at Rotorua Hospital. Health New Zealand Lakes provides healthcare to a population of 112,000 people from its two general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupō, a top tourist area of New Zealand. Work alongside a team of 8 experienced SMO clinicians and 3 RMO Registrars who are committed to providing comprehensive care in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. From antenatal care and high-risk pregnancies to gynaecological surgery and reproductive health, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on women's health in our community. As a Senior House Officer, you'll benefit from receiving teaching opportunities and guidance from experienced colleagues, which will enhance your skills and knowledge in the field. Rotorua Hospital is a District General Hospital in one of the most spectacular regions of New Zealand – native bush, beautiful lakes and rivers, unique geothermal landscapes and some of the best mountain biking and walking/running trails in NZ. Rotorua is also the perfect place to explore all that the North Island has to offer - it is only an hour from the spectacular east coast beaches, and an hour from stunning Lake Taupō with Mount Ruapehu offering skiing, tramping, fishing and water sports.   • 3 x referee reports on the MCNZ RP6 form (one of whom must be your most recent supervisor). Reports must be received by the above-stated closing date.

You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
