We are currently looking for an Manager, Non-Biddable Buying to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for handling media vendors, media owners, and facilitating clients throughout the buying process and additional duties as assigned. - Ensure team understanding of clients’ brand, GroupM Agency’s deliverables, and campaign KPIs
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance clients’ campaigns and advise GroupM Agencies accordingly
- Proactively address, and escalate when needed, any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
- Work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders to deliver value to clients
- Conduct quality control and assurance of the own and the team’s workstream before handing it over to other specialists
- Ensure team understanding and 100% compliance with finance processes and compliance with GroupM policies and procedures
- Continuously expand and share knowledge and understanding of new trends, media channels, and technologies
- Use the available tools to recommend optimized TV, Non-TV, Digital campaigns that match or exceed client’s KPI’s.
- Manage relationships with key media owners, including negotiating to ensure delivery of goals
- Recommend the best buying and negotiations strategy to the planning team, to optimize CPRP and ROI
- Drive inflation strategy by actively leading the negotiations function across all channels and delivering the best possible inflation number
- Support the team while meeting the reporting requirements
- Manage client’s budgets and deliver on annual media KPIs including prime-fringe ratio, CPRP, inflation, and strike rates
- Oversee team’s performance and control quality of their work
- Review team’s mid and post-campaign inputs and include actionable insights and analysis to improve in-flight optimization and future campaign brief recommendations
- Proactively identify campaign improvement opportunities and advise Campaign Delivery Team accordingly
- Proactively address, and escalate when needed, any issue that compromises the timeliness and quality of deliverables
- Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time
- Highly numerate, organized, with an ability to demonstrate implementation and adherence to processes
- Good understanding of analytical techniques and interest in discovering insights from post-campaign data
- Strive for excellence demonstrated by a commitment to continuous improvement, taking initiative and delivering results despite constraints
- Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Non-Biddable media buying
- Leadership skills demonstrated by self-confidence, good judgement, sound decision-making, empathic listening, flexibility, self-motivation, and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Strong negotiation, budget & inflation management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
- Past people management experience demonstrated as the ability to drive people towards joint goals, mentor, coach and motivate them as well as hold them accountable for their results.
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Able to efficiently prioritize and delegate tasks in a fast-changing environment
