About the job Senior Integration Developer
Job Title: Senior Integration Developer DEPARTMENT FOCUS The Integration Services Department focuses on systems integration within the entire Client Group, delivering, maintaining, and governing internal and external integration services on modern, flexible technologies and platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES- Translating business needs into clear requirements to enable the design of flexible integration solutions that align with Integration Principles, Guidelines, Patterns, and Target Architecture.
- Work with other Project Consultants and collaborate with Functional/Technical Leads and Solution Architects.
- Provide Level 2 Architecture Design for Data, Application, Hub, and Factory Integration.
- Provide constant insight and support to business activities to solve daily business problems through the Enterprise Integration Platform, tools, and systems.
- Provide deep functional expertise within the Integration Area to promote effective and efficient integration to internal and external systems.
- Proactively identify functional/technical enhancements to add value to business by analyzing current integration and looking for improvements to business processes.
- Analyze business requirements through fit/gap analysis and coordinate/prioritize solution gaps through integration principles with business process owners and secure change management.
- Provide functional/technical procedures to ensure IT solution integrity and maintain updated integration documentation (functional and technical specifications).
- Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, customer-focused attitude within and between departments.
- Ensure daily operational support meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the OPCOs.
- Continually update own knowledge and keep up with trends.
- Facilitate training and knowledge sharing for colleagues within and outside the OPCO.
- Secure design and roadmaps in close cooperation with the architect team.
- Attend code reviews to assure compliance.
- Proactively clarify work instructions or analyze issues.
- Perform migrations and upgrades.
- Provide production support as needed.
- In-depth knowledge of integration design and concepts.
- Minimum 5 years of full-time working and proven experience with EiPaaS, preferably Informatica Data Management Cloud and/or Boomi.
- Experience in Kafka as a messaging queue and event streaming platform.
- Proven experience with the integration of data from multiple data sources.
- Familiar with web services technologies:
- SOAP
- RESTful API
- WSDL
- SOA
- Understand textual data interchange:
- XML
- JSON
- Understanding RFC and IDOC in SAP is a plus.
- Strong knowledge in SQL Development (T-SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and other DB objects).
- Technical Bachelor's Degree.
- Ability to work with an Agile (i.e., Scrum) team.
- Fluently communicate in English (verbally and in writing).
- Open mind and positive can-do attitude.
- Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to travel.
