This role demands strategic planning, leadership, and exceptional sales acumen to meet organizational goals. You will oversee a team of associates, spearhead high-value client engagements, and contribute to the long-term vision of the company. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s market presence.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the Ed-tech industry.
- Create and manage sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-value clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Engage in negotiations and present tailored solutions to address client needs effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Associates and Senior Associates to achieve their targets.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance team productivity.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Connect with the leads daily to engage with potential clients and assess their requirements.
- Manage and participate in on-ground sales activities, such as educational conductions/events within Hyderabad , to drive enrolments.
- Close high-value deals through effective communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Oversee the use of CRM tools to track leads, monitor sales pipelines, and maintain accurate data.
- Provide detailed reports to senior management, including progress updates, client feedback, and performance analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, with a proven track record in the Ed-tech industry .
- Strong background in the K9 and K12 education segments is mandatory.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Deep understanding of the K9 and K12 education landscape and market dynamics.
