Business Analyst Automation (Retail Banking Domain, Oceania Region)

We are seeking a seasoned Banking Operations Automation Business Analyst with a strong background in retail banking, automation tools, and RFP management. This long-term hybrid position offers the opportunity to work on transformative automation projects in Papua New Guinea. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Analysis:
- Gather, document, and finalize business requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with the development and business team, especially around Automating bank processes or operational aspects using RPA tools or similar applications.
- Write and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and other project-related documents.
- Prepare impactful presentations and reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Lead vendor evaluation and scoring processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide insights into automation and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) opportunities.
- Utilize tools like UI Path, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere , or similar platforms to identify and implement process improvements.
- Leverage deep understanding of retail banking processes to design and optimize automation workflows.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years as a Business Analyst, preferably in retail banking operations.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in at least one automation/RPA tool such as UI Path, Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
- Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of retail banking processes and automation best practices.
- Documentation Skills:
- Proven experience creating BRDs, FRDs, RFPs, and related documentation.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset.
- Up to 80% travel for short cycles of 45-60 days to Papua New Guinea.
- Food, lodging, and local travel expenses are covered.
- Periodic short paid vacations to Australia.
- Techno-Functional Experience: A blend of technical and business skills is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in evaluating and implementing automation projects for banking operations.
