About the Company: We are looking for a skilled PingDirectory LDAP Administrator / L3 Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and administering PingDirectory servers and will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of our LDAP infrastructure. About the Role: Administration & Management: Manage and maintain PingDirectory servers and associated components. Configure and optimize LDAP directory services to enhance performance and scalability. Implement and enforce security best practices for LDAP access and data protection. Exp : 3 yrs to 12 yrs Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support for LDAP-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
- Monitor system performance and logs, and respond to alerts to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve integration issues and deliver solutions.
- Design and implement directory architecture, schema, and data models to meet business requirements.
- Configure and manage PingDirectory servers, including setup, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain LDAP schema, including object classes, attributes, and attribute syntax.
- Implement access control and authentication mechanisms, such as ACLs, password policies, and authentication protocols (e.g., Kerberos, OAuth).
- Manage directory data, including data import, export, and synchronization with other systems.
- Troubleshoot directory issues, including performance problems, data inconsistencies, and authentication failures.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate directory services with applications and systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for directory architecture, configuration, and operations.
- Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and scalability efforts.
- Ensure directory security, including data encryption, access controls, and auditing.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures for directory data.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as security, network, and database teams, to ensure directory services align with organizational policies and standards.
- Provide L3 support for directory-related issues, including complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate directory tasks and improve efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with new features and best practices in PingDirectory and LDAP, and apply this knowledge to improve directory services.
- Familiarity with PingFederate and Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts.
- Experience with identity management and governance solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
