Job Description: SAP GTS Functional Consultant Experience: 5+ years Location: Remote Job type - 6-month contract Job Summary: We seek a highly skilled and experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Consultant with a proven track record of successful implementations and support within the European region. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of GTS functionalities, including compliance, customs management, and international trade processes. This role will involve both project implementation activities and ongoing support, requiring a strong understanding of business processes related to export/import, finance, and sales & distribution. Responsibilities: Lead and participate in SAP GTS implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support. Configure SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management (Sanctioned Party List Screening, Embargo Check, Legal Control), Customs Management (Customs Declarations, Electronic Communication with Customs Authorities), and Risk Management (Preference Determination, Restitution). Provide expert guidance on European Union customs regulations and procedures. Integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules, such as SD, MM, and FI. Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements and reports. Conduct user training and create documentation. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP GTS implementations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements. Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external partners to ensure smooth system operation and compliance. Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP GTS releases, functionalities, and regulatory changes. [3 to 5] years of experience as an SAP GTS Functional Consultant. Deep understanding of SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management). Extensive knowledge of European Union customs regulations and procedures, including Intrastat reporting. Experience with integration of SAP GTS with SD, MM, and FI modules. Strong understanding of export/import processes, international trade, and supply chain management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Additional European languages are a plus.
