Job Description We are seeking an experienced MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MES implementations and support, with at least 7 years of relevant experience. The MES Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining MES solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement MES solutions to support manufacturing operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, IT, and engineering, to gather requirements and ensure successful MES integration. Configure and customize MES software to meet the specific needs of the manufacturing process. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MES-related issues. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and performance. Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, system configurations, and user manuals. Train and support end-users in the effective use of MES applications. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and operational efficiency. Stay updated with the latest MES technologies and industry trends. Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in MES implementation and support within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of MES software (e.g., Wonderware, Siemens, Rockwell Automation, or similar). Proficiency in programming languages and databases (e.g., SQL, Java, .NET). Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other industrial automation technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Certification in MES or related fields is a plus.
