Job Summary:

The Cost Controller is responsible for managing and controlling costs within the hospitality division, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of cost management principles and the ability to analyze financial data to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control all costs related to the hospitality operations, including food and beverage, labor, and operational expenses.

Prepare and analyze cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends and variances.

Implement cost control measures and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Collaborate with department heads to provide insights on cost management and advise on budgetary constraints.

Maintain and update the hospitality ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on cost performance and recommendations for improvements.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any Business-related course.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the hospitality industry.

Proficient in Hospitality ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.

Advanced skills in Excel and reporting, including pivot tables and data analysis.
