IMI2286 - Logistics Operation Specialist IJob Family: Procurement and Supply Chain ManagementContract Type: DirectLocation: (Location not specified)Business Line: Procurement & Supply ChainDepartment: LogisticsClosing Date: 31-Oct-2024Your Future RoleThe Logistics Operation Specialist will be responsible for managing the logistics operation and liaising with the purchasing team for the movement of materials from suppliers to IMI.Primary AccountabilitiesAdhere to IMI policies and safety standards and comply with HSES policies and procedures.Work closely with the purchasing team for the movement of materials from suppliers to IMI through sea, air, and land.Provide logistics quotations to the purchasing team/estimator.Collaborate with the logistics provider to perform logistics operations and ensure operations are conducted as per the standard operating process agreed upon. Identify areas for improvement in the operation process.Closely follow up on shipments with the logistics services provider and maintain accurate updates about the status of shipments.Manage and process logistics POs in the system.Verify and process logistics service provider invoices in the ERP system.Coordinate with the logistics service provider for the planning of materials movements.Work with the trade compliance team to ensure on-time lifting of cleared materials.Arrange surveyor services and insurance claims in case of damage.Maintain proper records of each shipment.Manage the documentation of logistics operations, including filing.Who We Are Looking ForMinimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent.Proven record in logistics operations with the ability to handle different types of shipments (sea, air, and land).Knowledge of transportation management systems (ERP) and the work process.Knowledge of logistics import systems.5-9 years of experience in logistics and supply chain.About the Application ProcessIf you meet the criteria and are enthusiastic about the role, we welcome your application.
