Website Project Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Project Manager to lead website maintenance and enhancement projects, ensuring optimal performance, user experience, and adherence to best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of UI/UX principles, website strategy, and content management systems (CMS). The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing website projects, leading teams, and delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities:

• Website Strategy & UI/UX: Champion UI/UX best practices and contribute to website strategy discussions, ensuring a user-centered approach to design and functionality. Analyze website performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of website maintenance and enhancement projects, from planning and execution to quality assurance and deployment. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• CMS Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in managing websites built on various CMS platforms, including (but not limited to) WordPress, AEM, Drupal, and WCS. Guide the team in selecting and implementing appropriate CMS solutions based on project requirements.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, designers, and content creators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance on technical and domain-specific aspects, defining best practices and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular project updates, presentations, and reports. Manage expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Proactively identify risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to minimize potential disruptions.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and execute onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer programs for new team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

• 8+ years of experience in website management, including a strong focus on UI/UX strategy and website best practices.
• Proven experience managing website projects with medium to large teams.
• Deep understanding of various CMS platforms, including WordPress, AEM, Drupal, or other equivalent systems.
• Excellent understanding of web UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a cross-functional matrix organization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (like GCP, AWS) and performance tuning is a plus.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, or Ajax is beneficial.
