Key Responsibilities: Sales Planning & Execution:

  • Achieve sales targets through effective secondary sales planning and executing it at the retailers level.
  • Ensure adequate product mix and coverage of the mart and grocers, overseeing inventory management to meet demand and maintain fill rates.
Business Development:
  • Manage distributor and sub-stockist relationships to optimize credit , stock management, and primary/secondary sales flow.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the region, expand the customer base, and work towards improving market share.
Operational Management:
  • Implement Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives to drive efficient market coverage, product placement, and visibility at key retail outlets.
  • Conduct trade marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams, including product launches and re-launches to enhance market penetration.
  • Analyze performance metrics weekly, comparing targets vs. actual achievements, and support sales representatives in meeting assigned quotas.
Relationship Management:
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with key retailers and marts, ensuring satisfaction, engagement, and long-term partnership building.
  • Address and resolve retailer complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and fostering strong relationships.
  • Act as a point of contact for any issues raised, providing solutions and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Team Management and Training:
  • Manage and coach a team of Market Representatives (MRs), providing them with regular on-the-job training to enhance their performance and ensure they meet their sales targets.
  • Oversee the daily activities of MRs, monitor their performance, and ensure they follow Target plans for in-store execution, product positioning, and distributor management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • 2 to 3 years of Experience
  • Preferred MBA from Tier2/Tier3 college
  • FMCG background is a must
  • Should be willing to relocate across HOs and cities at a short notice
  • Immediate joiners preferred
